Suwan Golf & Country Club

Opened in 2005, Suwan Golf & Country Club is one of the newer courses in Bangkok. It initially experienced issues with its greens but this problem has long been rectified.  This outstanding course hosted the Asian Tour International in 2009 and 2010. The course is now nearly always in great condition and the last five holes are as good as you will play anywhere. There is a good chipping area and a large practice putting green, but the driving range is somewhat of a let-down as it is located a long way from the clubhouse on poor turf. The clubhouse is superb with excellent facilities and very well organized with well-dressed caddies, who read the greens very well. Look out for the well-stocked kiosks around the course and try the soup at the halfway house!
