Located along the Andaman Sea at Thai Muang Beach, 40 minutes north of Phuket Airport, the course is easily accessible for visitors to the island. The Canyon course is set on an old tin mine in a secluded valley, making great use of the natural elevations. The resulting undulating fast greens can be very difficult for the average golfer. The swirling winds make club selection difficult, and the strong Zosyia grass on the fairway restricts the rolling of the ball so it can play long at times and tougher than the par of 72. Sister course to the more famous Blue Canyon, the Lakes course was established in 1991 and shares the clubhouse and excellent driving range. Located very close to Phuket International Airport in the north of the island, it is in the ideal location for the first or last game of your holiday. The course is well-maintained with an untouched stream from the mountains feeding into the golf course. |

Although described as a resort course, Laguna is more than that and hosted the Thailand Open in 2009.The course was re-designed in 2014, and now the Laguna Golf Phuket is both more challenging and memorable. Opened in 1989, this was the first 18 hole championship golf course to be built on Phuket. It is a fair course, on which high handicappers can score well and low handicappers still feel challeneged. Phuket Country Club is located in the centre of the island and meanders through hills and limestone cliffs. |

Designer Jon Morrow has done a magnificent job transforming a tin mine in the centre of Phuket into an incredible golf course. Wonderfully manicured with many undulating fairways, the greens are normally fast and some of the best on the island. Tight fairways and well-placed bunkers rather than water are the main hazards. |

Opened to the public in 2002, Tublamu Navy Golf Course is located at the Royal Thai Navy Sport Development Centre in Thap Lamu, 10 minutes south of Khao Lak. This 18-hole, municipal course is nestled in one of Khao Lak’s most beautiful white sandy bays, with a lush rainforest backdrop and splendid views of the Phuket mountains. It is run and maintained by the Thai Royal Navy. |
